Broadband source (BBS) is a custom configuration based onouramplification products. It is to provide a high power amplified spontaneous emission (ASE) source. Compared to the1021gain compensator, the BBS has a terminated input port and the optical path is re-optimized in order to provide a strong ASE light.

Optical performance can be optimized for different applications with or without gain flattening filters.

With integrated microprocessor and electronics, automatic control is available for constant output.
